The New York Times Contributor

In addition to editing I.D. Magazine, Chee was a contributor to a number of publications. For The New York Times she originated “First Look,” a series that profiled designers and new projects as they were revealed. The physical pages of these stories are long gone, but images of yellowed newsprint show how design reporting once saturated the publication’s pages.
